Adventurine is a British singer, songwriter, and musician based in Margate (U.K.). Her folky sound is influenced by Americana, country, and blues. After training in jazz violin at the Brussels Conservatory, she returned to her folk roots and switched to singing and guitar. Her first E.P. of original songs was released in 2019, produced by the French musician Medi. “You Light Me Up” was performed at festivals and concerts in France, Italy and the U.S., including the Women of Folk Festival in Pennsylvania. A second U.S. tour in 2022 resulted in another five singles, recorded with producer Dave Strumfeld in Nashville. “You are the Road”, was released in March 2024, with a video filmed against the stunning backdrop of the French Alps. It was followed by “Butterfly” for Pride month in June. This work has led to a scholarship for a songwriting course in Canada with Sam Parton from the Be Good Tanyas, a major influence on Adventurine's songwriting.
